On the Beach at New Quay My brothers ran about playing football, Mum and Dad spread the picnic rug, My sister went looking for fossils, Me, I sat on the sand and dug.
My brothers leapt about with a frisbee, Mum and Dad had a snooze and a hug, My sister went poking in rock pools, Me, I just sat and dug.
My brothers splashed about in the water, Mum and Dad poured tea from a jug, My sister climbed a hill of boulders, Me, I just dug and dug and dug.
My brothers and sisters stopped playing Mum and Dad started packing away, But me, in my super sand speedboat, I sped off across the bay.
